Movement

And Paramecium

Cilia-composed of proteins called microtubule and a cell membrane. The microtubule is made up of a protein called tubIin, and the microtubule is hollow. The Cilia has a specific arrangement of 9 double microtubules surrounding two microtubules.

Beating of cilia:

There are two strokes involved with the beating of the cilia, the first is the active stroke and the recovery stroke. This back and forth action allows the paramecium to move in water.
